8-Period Fun

Yes, I am talking about school life. Remember those five hours and eight period fun that we all experienced in our early life. School, a place or should I say a temple where we all were nourished and nurtured evenly. A place where we came crying and some of us might left crying too. A place which taught us the basics of life. This is the first ever place for all of us where we were without our parents, but with loads of friends and some really sweet and caring teachers. School life is very interesting and has many dimensions. The morning assembly where every one (not every one though) sing national anthem, national song and prayers to start the day. The prefects (students who are supposed to be the best in their respective classes, but actually they are not) then make sure that everyone is in proper dress by checking them out. Those who are not will have to stand with the late comers and face the punishment. Luckily, I never receive any punishment for that reason simply because I sk...

My Ranger Max

Image
Ranzer Max. Credit Google Images. Childhood is the stage where every single child has a passionate love with his/her toys or even belongings. As a child one just could not live without those lovely gifts that our parents buy for us, at times on our birthday’s and sometimes totally against there wish to avoid their offspring crying madly in public. Tough for parents though. It is like a custom or a birthright for children’s to blackmailing parents emotionally with their cutest crying for their much undeserved gift. However, parents do love the emotional blackmailing I guess, otherwise for why and whom they are earning. Like all the naughty kids you possibly know or even heard of, I too was very naughty and can proudly put myself in that increasing list too. I never miss any opportunity to let my parents go without buy anything for me whenever we are in the market, whether they like it or not does not matter. Most of my toys and gifts are the result of my gifted ability to make them un...

That Magnificent Last Over...

Well, I have seen many close matches and played quite a few too. This one is not too different from any thriller. It was some 5-6 years back; I remember our colony (A2A) team for the first time ever participated in a Cricket Tournament. Our's is a wonderful team, a bunch of young and exciting players and our strength was; every single guy was an all-rounder. So, whenever chips were down someone stood up and deliver to the team’s victory. We all believe that we have the potential to beat any side that is there in the Tournament and we can win the event. We started with a win over C-1(colony), than beat A-3(colony) comprehensively to get into the knock out (KO) stage. This is the stage where one loss would seal our journey further in the Tournament. The one thing, which influenced us, was that each one of us was in form, which already proves in the League stage. Therefore, we are very confident going into the KO stage. However, as they say cricket is very funny game and any ...

A Wednesday- Market.

Markets are usually related to women, as they are the mammals with this extra shopping gene in them. However, this blog is not about any typical market. But, instead, it is about a normal weekday vegetable-fruit market. Yes, we all have some kind of experience with them. I too am a regular visitor to this Wednesday market since my childhood and I have many fond memories of it, some of them I will share here. On every Wednesday, I used to go with my mother to buy vegetables and fruits from this market since I was a kid. Earlier it was a different feeling going to the market, as my aim is to get the biggest balloon which my mother had to buy for me otherwise she knew I would not let her buy the most important things "fruits and vegetables". So, in order to get the fruits and vegetables at the cheapest cost we usually left our home after dinner around 9:30 or even 10 in summers and at 9 to 9:30 in the winters. And of-course our first vendor or ...

You are still a kid...No I am not.

Son you are still a kid . No matter how old you are but for your parents you will always remain as a kid. They just love to advise you when you don't even seek one, they love to select dresses for you, whether you like it or not doesn't matter, they just loves to deny each & every offer of yours even if it will turn out to be profitable afterwards,  they always remain curious to know each & everything about your existing  friends and at times they even loves to decide as who should be your friends, WOW. They think you are the most stupid person in the world that anyone can make you fool anytime & you deserve someone with you always to guide you. Above that if you are the only child of your parents then the first thing you want to do is to hit that person who coined that "   eklauta hai na isiliye laadla bhi hai   ". I completely disagree this notion with reasons I already mentioned above. Yes, being a single child, you did not need to share your toys, gif...
