Dubai Dates
Traveling is a great booster and an aid to relax. Taking a time off from a busy day to day schedule is must for everyone, specially for working professionals. Although, traveling requires lot of planning, preparation and funds still its a must for everyone to have a break. Luckily, I happened to visit Dubai last year in November. It was a family trip where we visited many places not just in Dubai but also Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. This was my first international trip so I was very excited about it. Also it happened to be my first experience of traveling by air. It was a 10 day long holiday. We stayed at 4 star hotel in Dubai.
On the very day we reached we enjoyed the Limousine ride to the city. It was an amazing experience to be in the big Limousine and watching the city. In the evening we went to Dhow-Cruise. Its a cruise in the creek with dinner, music and Tanura dance show. It was also the first ever cruise for me hence the level of excitement was too high. Although we were already tired yet we enjoyed to fullest. The following day we were scheduled to visit the great Burj Khalifa the tallest tower. I cant explain the level of excitement I have the moment we stepped inside the building. its an amazing architecture and has apartments and office spaces too. We visited floor 124 and 125 the only floor open for visitors and the moment I stepped out on level 125 from the lift trust me the sky seems not too far and I can see whole Dubai from there. Its a round shaped glass covered balcony having photographs and history written on the pillars. There was little museum on the 124th floor where one can buy souvenirs. I did not buy anything because it was 20 times the Indian rupee. In the afternoon we went to Gold Souk the famous place or the market to buy gold. We were told that many big-shots buy gold from there. In Dubai you will get 100% pure gold. In the evening we came back to Burj Khalifa to witness the amazing lighting and musical fountain. It was awesome to say the least. The ambience there was sparkling and the time I spent there was best I have till now.
On the third day we went to Dolphanarium the house of dolphins if I can call it. It was basically designed for kids and my daughter even though she is a year and 9 months old enjoyed to fullest. The amazing show that the dolphins put up guided by their trainers was one to watch. Their coordination and timing was amazing. Then we visited the small museum inside the same campus. The next day we visited Butterfly Park. It was amazingly designed and very big. Plants and flowers were mounted on animal and bird shapes structure. It was so big that we could not finish it in allotted time. The cafeterias on the outer circle and the park in the inner circle was meaningfully designed. After that we went for Belle Dance and dinner and it was one of its kind experience. Sitting in sand watching belle dancing and having dinner was like a dream.
The next in line was the Glow Garden. It was actually glowing in the dark night. It seems we were in the butterfly park only but in night. There were some small rides also for kids. My daughter enjoyed some of them. The next day we went to Atlantis. Its a 7 star hotel having dolphin gallaries shopping centers and guess what... a waterpark. We enjoyed a lot their, did all the water activities and watched galleries. On the sixth day we went for Desert Safari. It was awesome the Quad Bike ride was truly an activity to remember, but the most astonishing event was yet to come. The actual desert safari. If you have done or even you have seen it you would definitely has the idea how it was. The twisting-n-turning of the car in the sand was enough for me to scream aloud. I was full confident that this will be the last ride of my life. But, thanks to our experienced driver I am still alive and writing this wonderful experience.
Next on the list is some water sports. We went to Kite beach and did surfing and banana ride. Later in the day we went to Sharjah not too far from Dubai for Jet Skiing. That was thrilling and trust me doing it for the very first time I actually tumbled in the middle of the sea and thanks for those life jackets I came up and did not immerse in the sea. That was quite an experience. Our next destination was Dubai Mall. What a place that was so big and one could find almost every brand their and ofcourse we cannot visit the whole mall in the limited time we have. The following 2 days we took rest and visited nearby markets in the evening for some shopping.
The last day in Dubai was an emotional affair. Knowing that we will leave this wonderful country and also coming to the end of our holiday I was little down. But, soon the emotions were controlled and we left for the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. What a masterpiece it was. The white structure under the clean blue sky was a scenic view. It was very big and lavishly designed. After that we left for the final destination The Ferrari World. Yes you've guessed it right everything their was a ferrari. Their was an ride shaped like ferrari and having the speed of ferrari too. I got afraid just by seeing people doing it and did not ride it but my family did. I did other rides and we enjoyed a lot till our last minute their. All in all it was great 10 days of my life. Having taken time off from work and spend with family is unmatched. I suggest everyone should take time off and have fun in life.
